About LibriTXT.org
LibriTXT.org is an independent reference for developers and technical users who handle text data. Each note answers a practical question – what an encoding actually does, which hash to pick, how to read a diff – and points to a matching utility you can try immediately.
Developer notes
- Base64 encoding and decoding – what it is for, why it is not encryption, and common pitfalls with data URIs and padding.
- Using a diff checker – reading unified diffs and comparing code or documents.
- Hash generators: SHA-256, MD5 and when to use each – checksums versus security uses.
- Text case conversion – camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case and where each convention is expected.
Utilities
The tools page provides Base64, hash, diff, case, URL-encoding, JSON and regex utilities that run in your browser; your input is not uploaded.
Independent and ad-supported
